• Use AI-powered career tools including:
  • AI Resume Builder - generates tailored, ATS-optimized resumes
  • AI Cover Letter Generator - creates personalized cover letters
  • AI Interview Prep Coach - provides practice questions and guidance
  • AI Skills Gap Analyzer - identifies skill development opportunities
  • Cosmo Counsel AI Chatbot - provides 24/7 career guidance (Pro tier only)
  • AI Job Leads - searches third-party job boards and ranks results against your career profile using AI (Pro tier only, 7 searches per week)
  • Saved Job Leads - tracked job openings with application deadlines, status, and email reminder preferences

The Service processes limited personal and professional information strictly to deliver its functionality.

New accounts must verify their email address within 48 hours of registration. During the grace period you may explore the platform, but certain AI-powered features will be unavailable until verification is complete.

For security, sessions are automatically terminated after 30 minutes of inactivity. You will receive a 60-second warning before automatic sign-out occurs.

Content generated by our AI tools (resumes, cover letters, interview responses, skills analyses, and chatbot advice) is provided for informational and guidance purposes only. AI-generated content:

You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and customizing all AI-generated content before submitting it to employers or using it professionally.

2. Eligibility and Account Responsibility

Once data is deleted (either at 30 days or 60 days), it cannot be recovered. We strongly recommend:

• Logging in regularly to maintain your account

• Your violation of any rights of a third party, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
• Any content you submit, post, or transmit through the Application

13A.2 Recruiter Portal Indemnification

If you are a Recruiter using the Recruiter Portal services, you additionally agree to indemnify and hold harmless UFO Chaser™ LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of Candidate information obtained through the platform
• Any employment decisions made based on Candidate profiles or information
• Any violation of employment laws, anti-discrimination regulations, or privacy laws
• Any unauthorized disclosure, misuse, or breach involving Candidate data
• Any misrepresentation about your company, job opportunities, or recruiting intentions
• Claims brought by Candidates or third parties related to your recruiting activities

13A.3 Candidate Indemnification

If you are a Candidate using the Application, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless UFO Chaser™ LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Any inaccurate, misleading, or fraudulent information in your profile or resume
• Your decision to share contact information with Recruiters
• Any disputes between you and Recruiters or employers
• Claims related to your employment status, work authorization, or professional credentials

14A.4 Platform Intermediary Status

You acknowledge that UFO Chaser™ LLC is intended to act as a platform connecting Candidates and Recruiters. We are not:

• An employment agency or staffing firm
• A party to any employment relationship or negotiation
• Responsible for verifying the accuracy of Candidate or Recruiter information
• Responsible for the outcome of any recruiting process or employment decision
• Providing background checks, reference verification, or credential validation

No Guarantee of Recruiter Activity: There is no guarantee that Recruiters are actively using the platform at any given time, or that Recruiters will view your profile or contact you through the platform. The availability of Recruiters and their engagement with Candidates is entirely at the discretion of the Recruiters themselves.

Recruiter Q&A Subject to Availability: Any Recruiter Q&A features or direct communication opportunities with Recruiters are subject to Recruiter availability and participation. UFO Chaser™ LLC does not guarantee access to Recruiters through these features.

UFO Chaser™ LLC expressly disclaims all liability for any loss, damage, or harm resulting from interactions between Candidates and Recruiters facilitated through the platform, or from any lack of Recruiter engagement or response.

14. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, excluding conflict-of-law principles.

17. Subscription Plans and Payments

17.1 Subscription Tiers

LaunchPath Careers by UFO Chaser™ offers the following subscription tiers:

Annual plans are billed once per year at the rates shown above and provide the same features as their monthly equivalents.

17.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. UFO Chaser™ LLC does not directly store, process, or have access to your full payment card details.

By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan you select) until you cancel your subscription.

17.3 Promotional Codes

UFO Chaser™ LLC may offer promotional codes that provide free trial access to paid features. Promotional codes:

• Are subject to specific terms and expiration dates
• Cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated
• May be revoked or modified at UFO Chaser™ LLC's discretion
• Grant temporary access that expires at the end of the promotional period

17.4 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon cancellation:

• You will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period
• Your account will revert to the Free tier after the billing period ends
• No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period

18. Recruiter Portal Services

18.1 Overview

LaunchPath Careers by UFO Chaser™ offers a Recruiter Portal that allows employers, recruiters, and hiring managers ("Recruiters") to discover and connect with job seekers ("Candidates") who have opted into recruiter discovery. This service is designed to facilitate professional opportunities while prioritizing Candidate privacy and consent.

18.2 Candidate Opt-In and Consent

Candidates must explicitly opt into recruiter discovery by enabling the "Discoverable by Recruiters" setting on their profile. By opting in, you agree that:

• Your public profile information (display name, headline, skills, target role, and professional summary) may be visible to Recruiters searching for candidates
• Recruiters may send you contact requests through the platform
• Your personal contact information (email, phone, resume) is NEVER shared automatically — it is only shared when you explicitly approve a specific Recruiter's contact request
• You may disable recruiter discovery at any time in your profile settings

18.3 Contact Request Process

When a Recruiter wishes to contact you, the following consent-based process applies:

1. The Recruiter submits a contact request through our platform, which may include information about the opportunity and their company
2. You receive an email notification with details about the Recruiter and their interest
3. You can choose to Approve or Decline the request via email link or your dashboard
4. If approved, only the contact information you select (email, phone, and/or resume) is shared with that specific Recruiter
5. If declined, no contact information is shared
6. Contact requests expire after 14 days if not responded to

18.4 Recruiter Responsibilities and Restrictions

Recruiters using the platform agree to:

• Use the platform and Candidate information solely for legitimate recruitment purposes
• Not spam, harass, or send excessive contact requests to Candidates
• Not share or sell Candidate information to third parties
• Not use automated systems or bots to scrape or collect Candidate data
• Comply with all applicable employment laws and anti-discrimination regulations
• Maintain the confidentiality of any Candidate information received

18.5 Rate Limits and Anti-Spam Protections

To protect Candidates from spam and excessive contact, the following limits apply to Recruiters:

• Daily contact request limits based on subscription tier (5-200 requests per day)
• Only one pending contact request per Candidate per job posting
• Mandatory waiting period after a Candidate declines a request before sending another
• All contact requests are logged and audited for abuse prevention

18.6 Identity Protection

To protect Candidates from identity theft and fraud:

• Recruiter accounts require email verification
• IP addresses are logged for all contact requests and responses
• Suspicious activity is automatically flagged and reviewed
• Candidates can report inappropriate Recruiter behavior
• UFO Chaser™ LLC may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these policies

18.7 No Employment Guarantee

UFO Chaser™ LLC does not guarantee that:

• Candidates will receive contact requests from Recruiters
• Recruiter inquiries will result in interviews or job offers
• Recruiters are legitimate or represent the companies they claim
• Job opportunities presented are accurate or available

Users are encouraged to independently verify Recruiter identities and job opportunities before sharing sensitive information or accepting offers.

18.8 Recruiter Subscription Terms

Recruiter subscription tiers are as follows:

19. Email Communications

The Application sends email communications in two categories:

19.1 Transactional Emails (Cannot Be Disabled)

These are essential service communications required for account functionality. They include:

• Password reset links
• Email verification
• Partner/recruiter approval notifications

In accordance with CAN-SPAM Act, CASL (Canada), and GDPR regulations, transactional emails are exempt from opt-out requirements as they are necessary to fulfill your account relationship with us.

19.2 Non-Transactional Emails (User-Controllable)

You may control which non-transactional emails you receive. These include:

• Login Alerts: Notifications when your account is accessed from a new device or location
• Recruiter Interest: Notifications when a recruiter sends you a contact request
• Career Summary Shared: Notifications when someone shares a career summary with you
• Job Reminders: Deadline reminders for your saved/tracked job leads (Pro tier)

19.3 Managing Your Email Preferences

You can manage your email preferences at any time through:

• Settings Page: Dashboard → Settings → Email Notification Preferences
• Unsubscribe Links: Every non-transactional email includes a link to manage your preferences or unsubscribe from that email category
• Bulk Controls: "Pause All Job Reminders" and "Resume All Job Reminders" buttons to control deadline emails for all tracked leads at once

Changes to email preferences take effect immediately. Disabling a category will prevent future emails of that type but will not affect emails already in transit.
