What is LaunchPath Careers℠?

LaunchPath Careers℠ is a guided career planning platform that helps you discover your Career Archetype, complete structured exercises, practice mock interviews with AI feedback, build job-tailored resumes (including Federal Resume format), and search job leads across 7 boards. It is built by UFO Chaser® LLC.

Is LaunchPath Careers℠ free?

Yes! LaunchPath Careers℠ offers a free tier with all career planning exercises, one Career Archetype assessment, and 5 AI tool uses per month. Premium ($9.99/mo) and Pro ($15.99/mo) tiers unlock unlimited AI tools, mock interview coaching, job lead search across 7 boards, and more.

What is the Career Archetype Assessment?

The Career Archetype Assessment is a personality-based career quiz that identifies your career type. You receive a primary and secondary archetype, a strengths profile, and personalized recommendations. One free attempt is included; Premium and Pro subscribers get unlimited attempts.

How does the career planning framework work?

You start by discovering your Career Archetype, then complete 5 sequential exercises: Clarity Check (strengths, energy, direction), Job Blueprint (target position and environment), Professional Story (identity and narrative), Target Companies (research and rank), and Outreach & Actions (networking and follow-up). Data from each step feeds into the AI tools for personalized output.

What AI tools are included?

LaunchPath includes an AI Resume Builder (with Federal Resume template), Cover Letter Generator, Mock Interview Coach with STAR method feedback, Interview Prep Coach, Skills Gap Analyzer, Career Path Visualizer with BLS/O*NET data, Company Discovery, Job Lead Search across 7 boards (Adzuna, USAJobs, The Muse, Remotive, Jobicy, Himalayas, Jooble), Job Description Tailoring, Quick Pitch Generator, and Cosmo Counsel AI chatbot.

Is LaunchPath Careers℠ good for career switchers?

Absolutely. LaunchPath has a dedicated Career Switcher track that reframes exercises around transferable skills and cross-industry strengths. The Career Archetype assessment and Clarity Check are prioritized first to help career switchers identify what carries over to their new field.

Who is LaunchPath Careers℠ for?

LaunchPath Careers℠ is designed for career changers pivoting to a new field, career switchers identifying transferable skills, job seekers who want a structured approach, professionals planning their next move, recent graduates entering the workforce, people returning to work after a break, and recruiters connecting with prepared candidates.

How is LaunchPath different from other career platforms?

Unlike job boards or generic resume builders, LaunchPath starts with a Career Archetype quiz and guides you through self-discovery exercises before job searching. Your archetype and exercise data feed directly into AI tools, so every resume, cover letter, mock interview, and career path visualization is personalized to your unique strengths, goals, and target roles. The platform also aggregates job leads from 7 boards in one place.

Can recruiters use LaunchPath Careers℠?

Yes. Recruiters can create a free account to browse public candidate portfolios, view career planning progress, and connect with job seekers who have completed the framework. Premium and Pro candidates can opt in to make their profiles visible to recruiters.

Is LaunchPath Careers℠ accessible?

LaunchPath Careers℠ is designed to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA and Section 508, and we test regularly. The platform includes skip navigation, semantic HTML landmarks, ARIA labels, keyboard navigation, and color contrast checked by automated testing. Our accessibility statement at /accessibility lists known limitations and how to report an issue.

Can I search multiple job boards at the same time?

Yes. One search in LaunchPath Careers℠ queries 7 job boards simultaneously — Adzuna, USAJobs, The Muse, Remotive, Jobicy, Himalayas, and Jooble — and returns them as a single combined result set. You do not open seven tabs or repeat the same search seven times. Results are ranked by AI relevance against your profile, and each lead can be saved with a deadline and tracked from applied through offer.

Which job boards does LaunchPath Careers℠ search?

LaunchPath Careers℠ searches seven boards in parallel: Adzuna (broad US listings), USAJobs (federal government roles), The Muse (company-profile roles), Remotive (remote tech), Jobicy (remote-first), Himalayas (remote worldwide), and Jooble (a global aggregator with strong entry-level, hourly, and apprenticeship coverage). Together they cover federal, remote-first, corporate, and entry-level openings in one search.

How are job results ranked?

Results from all 7 boards are merged and scored by AI against the profile you build in the platform — your Career Archetype, Clarity Check strengths, Job Blueprint target role and environment, and your resume. Higher-fit roles surface first instead of the newest or the most-advertised listing.

Is LaunchPath Careers℠ useful for entry-level candidates or people without a degree?

Yes. LaunchPath Careers℠ is built for non-traditional students, early-career candidates, apprenticeship seekers, and people entering the workforce without a four-year degree. The exercises focus on transferable skills rather than credentials, and the 7-board search includes Jooble, which carries substantial entry-level, hourly, trade, and apprenticeship listings alongside the corporate and federal boards.

Can LaunchPath Careers℠ build a federal resume for USAJOBS?

Yes. Our free AI Resume Builder includes a USAJOBS-ready federal resume workflow that follows OPM formatting guidance — including the two-page standard effective September 27, 2025 — prompts you for every required field (hours per week, salary, supervisor contact, series/grade, month/year dates), and helps you align with specialized-experience requirements. LaunchPath Careers℠ is independent and not affiliated with USAJOBS, OPM, or any government agency.
