Our Accessibility Commitment

LaunchPath Careers℠ is designed to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and the Section 508 standards of the Rehabilitation Act. We believe the site is partially conformant: most content meets these standards, but some areas are still being tested or improved (see Known Limitations below). We test regularly and welcome your feedback.

Accessibility Features

Color Contrast

We design text to meet a 4.5:1 contrast ratio against its background and check it with automated testing, to support users with low vision or color deficiency.

Keyboard Navigation

Interactive elements are designed to be reachable and operable by keyboard, with visible focus indicators and modals that manage focus.

Screen Reader Support

Semantic HTML landmarks, ARIA labels, live regions, and descriptive alt text help screen reader users navigate the site.

Error Announcements

Form errors and status messages are announced to assistive technology via live regions and role=alert attributes.

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible. We are aware of the following and are working on them:

• On the Contact and Support pages, the embedded chat assistant receives keyboard focus before the rest of the page content.
• Charts in the administrator dashboard do not yet include text summaries.
• Downloadable resume and cover letter files (PDF and DOCX) have not been fully tested with assistive technology.
• Some features rely on third-party services, such as the chat assistant, Stripe checkout, and LinkedIn sign-in. We cannot fully control the accessibility of those services.

Evaluation Methods

Our most recent review (September 2026) used automated testing with the axe-core WCAG 2.1 AA / Section 508 rule set across public pages and sign-in screens on desktop and mobile, plus targeted manual keyboard checks. Signed-in dashboard pages have been reviewed in earlier development rounds but were not part of the latest automated scan. We have not yet completed a full independent screen-reader evaluation or published a VPAT (Accessibility Conformance Report). This statement is self-assessed and will be updated as testing continues.
